Does your child struggle to read grade level texts? Is reading difficult for your child? Do you fear that school closures due to COVID-19 has affected your child’s reading skills? Well, Brooks eAcademy can help!
Brooks eAcademy is offering summer reading programs that will help your child to become a confident and skilled reader! All programs are offered online and at times that fit your family’s busy summer schedule. Programs are a combination of live interactive classes and online lessons and quizzes that can be completed at your child’s pace. Class sizes are small so that students can get the support and attention they need to increase their skills. They are also based on current skills, grade level and needs. Classes are taught by experienced, certified and licensed classroom teachers. Program price also includes a free reading assessment for your child to pinpoint areas of need
All students are welcome in our program. Does your child have an IEP or 504 plan? We can work with them too!
Let’s Read – Basic Reading Skills
- Use of visual, auditory, kinesthetic and tactile senses to help students make connections between sounds and words
- Practice matching sounds with letters
- Work on word recognition and spelling of words
- Vocabulary, word understanding and word learning skills
How it works:
- 8 daily one hour live interactive sessions via Google Hangout Meets
- Delivered by a certified and licensed teacher
- Between classes your child will engage in online practice lessons and quizzes
- Online lessons can be completed at your child’s pace
